Erev Shabbat: Challah Taste Off and Shabbat Experience
Date: Friday, September 22nd 6pm HST
Location: Magic Island
Info: We’ll be meeting in the big lawn area at the end of the parking lot at 6pm. Bring your dinner, beach chair or towel, and your challah if you made one! Look for the blue balloon or scarf or someone you recognize. If you have electric candles, join us in welcoming in Shabbat.

Info: Screening of the movie "Hava Nagilah" followed by Havdalah & Nosh at Capital Place, starting at 3pm at Capital Place located at 1200 Queen Emma Place, 96813 off Beretania St. There is limited parking, so car-pool if you can. The movie is Hava Nagilah with popcorn and stimulating conversation, and concluding with a Havdalah service.
Erev Yom Kippur

Info: Erev Yom Kippur is always special and often a favorite service of many. Gathering at the Hongwanji, services will begin at 6:30pm and on Zoom – the same link as Rosh Hashanah, only named Yom Kippur.
